Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you explain your interest in the role, describe childcare experience and training, and mention reading and exploring Australia in your free time. The details about managing a childcare centre and caring for your cousin’s daughter make your suitability relevant. However, some points are less fully developed than others. For example, “for my survival in Australia” gives a reason for wanting the job but could be expressed more professionally and balanced with your interest in caring for children. Your free-time plans are also brief; you could explain how reading or exploring would fit around your responsibilities. Overall, the letter fulfils its purpose, but fuller, more specific development would strengthen it.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: an opening application, paragraphs about your motivation and experience, a paragraph on free time, and a suitable closing. Sequencing words such as “Further” and “Lastly” help signal the progression. However, these links can feel mechanical, and some ideas within paragraphs are joined abruptly. For instance, the move from your childcare experience to “I would be glad if I would get this job for my survival” could be connected more smoothly. The hobbies paragraph also shifts quickly from reading to your cousin’s daughter and then to sightseeing. Use clearer links to show how each detail supports the point, and keep each paragraph focused on one main purpose.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the main points, with relevant terms such as “child care,” “manager,” “diploma,” and “suitable candidate.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, which makes parts of the letter less fluent. “Care-taker” and “care taker” are not the natural terms for this role; “childcare worker” or “caregiver” would be more appropriate. “For my survival” sounds overly strong in a job application, while “for entertain myself” is an incorrect phrase. There are also spelling and spacing slips, including “withmy” and “i.” Aim for precise, professional expressions and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple sentences and some longer structures, including “I am interested in this job because…” and “as I have been manager…,” so there is an attempt to vary sentence forms. However, some errors in tense, articles, verb forms, and punctuation remain. For example, “Yesterday, I have seen” should use a past-tense form such as “Yesterday, I saw,” and “I just move to Australia” needs a past form. In “I would be glad if I would get this job,” the conditional structure is not formed accurately. Missing articles in “in Australian magazine” and “have been manager” also affect accuracy. Review past-tense forms, conditional patterns, and article use; these corrections would make your meaning more consistently clear.
