Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three points: you explain your interest in childcare and exploring Australia, describe relevant experience and personal qualities, and outline plans for sightseeing and a computer course. The letter’s purpose is clear, and the closing is appropriate. Some details, however, are less fully developed than others. For example, you mention babysitting but give no example of the responsibilities or age of children involved; your claim of knowledge about childhood illnesses and providing treatment would benefit from a specific, credible qualification or a more cautious explanation. The free-time plans are relevant but could be linked more clearly to the six-month stay. To strengthen the response, support your suitability with concrete evidence and make each point precise and convincing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an opening, separate paragraphs for your motivation, suitability, and free-time plans, followed by a polite closing. This makes the main information easy to locate. You also use linking expressions such as “Additionally,” “Apart from that,” and “therefore” to connect ideas. At times, however, these links feel mechanical, and some connections are unclear—for instance, the sentence beginning “As, this job…” does not connect smoothly to the preceding idea. References such as “them” after “your child” also make it less clear who is meant. Use fewer formulaic transitions and build clearer links between each claim and its explanation.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of vocabulary relevant to the role and your plans, including “reliable,” “critical-thinking skills,” “creative activities,” and “tourist locations.” This shows an effort to express more than basic ideas. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the message less natural: “die-heart wish,” “expensive knowledge,” and “take participate” do not convey the intended meanings appropriately, while “discplined” and “trustwothy” are misspelled. Some expressions, such as “better for me regarding job employments,” are difficult to interpret. Choose familiar, precise phrases and check spelling and word forms carefully; this will make your vocabulary more effective without needing overly ambitious wording.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You use both simple and more extended sentence forms, including clauses with “because,” “which,” and “in order to,” so there is some variety. The main message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. Examples include “for a six months,” “I already have a experience,” and “I will appreciated it,” which involve article, number, and verb-form problems. In “I will look after your kids when they will get a sick,” the tense pattern and sentence construction are inaccurate. Punctuation also disrupts some sentences, as in “because, I already…” and “As, this job…”. Review articles and plurals, use the correct verb form after “will,” and practise joining clauses with accurate punctuation.
