Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

The letter gives a reason for applying—your daycare experience—and mentions childcare skills such as feeding the child, preparing food and singing poems. However, it does not fully address the task: the advertisement concerns caring for a six-year-old, while you repeatedly refer to a six-month-old baby, which makes your suitability unclear. Your reason for wanting the job is also mainly that you need work and are currently free; explain more specifically why living with this family or caring for their child appeals to you. Most importantly, you do not say how you would spend your free time in Australia. Develop that point and make sure each detail matches the advertised role.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The ideas are presented in a broadly understandable order: you introduce the advertisement, describe your experience, and then explain your current circumstances. Basic linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “As in Australia” help signal movement between points. However, the letter has no clear paragraph structure, and the shift from childcare skills to needing a job feels abrupt. The closing is also compressed into one informal sentence. Group the application reason, relevant experience, and plans for free time into separate paragraphs, and use clearer transitions to show how each point relates to the parents’ decision. This would create a more consistent progression rather than a sequence of loosely connected statements.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to childcare, including “daycare,” “feed,” “recipes,” and “nourishing food,” so the reader can identify the general subject of your experience. However, the range is limited and several choices or spellings are inaccurate, including “baby sitting,” “activites,” “nourshing,” and “sustainable” in the context of suitability. Informal forms such as “wanna” and “u” are not appropriate for a letter to prospective employers, while “stay blessed” may sound overly familiar. Choose precise, professional expressions and check spelling. For example, describe your experience as “caring for young children” and explain that you can prepare “nutritious meals suitable for a child’s age.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response communicates its main points through mostly simple sentence patterns, with a few attempts to connect ideas using “as” and “so.” However, grammatical control is inconsistent. Examples include “I am writing you as I have seen,” “I feel myself suitable,” and “I have already worked in a daycare for past few years”; these need more accurate sentence patterns and article use. Capitalisation and punctuation are also unreliable, as in “i,” “i can,” and the repeated full stops. Some sentences are fragments, such as “Hope so you are doing well.” Practise complete, well-formed sentences and vary them with controlled clauses—for instance, “I am applying because I have several years of experience working in a daycare.”
