You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Sir or Madam,
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Dear Sir,
I am writing to show my interest in the job of care taker for your six years old child.
I would like to employ for you because of two basic reasons. First and the foremost reason is that when I will work for your family, I would not feel homesick while staying abroad. Secondly, I would have secure environment in the family where I would not be afraid of any kind of harasment. I believe these are the main priorities for any employee.
According to me, I am best suit for this job since I have same cultural background as yours. It will be a good opportunity for your child to learn about all rituals of our community on different festivals. Another thing to consider is the language. There is no language barrier and this will ease the clarification of the ideas.
For the free time in Australia I have my cousins who are on study permit.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address the reasons for applying and offer some relevant points about your suitability, including shared cultural background and the possibility of helping the child learn about community traditions. However, the response only partially fulfils the task: the reasons for wanting the job focus mainly on your own comfort and safety, and your suitability is asserted rather than supported with childcare experience or specific skills. The final point, “I have my cousins who are on study permit,” does not explain how you would spend your free time. Develop each required point with concrete details—for example, relevant experience with children, activities you would enjoy in Australia, and why this particular role appeals to you.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, and signposting such as “First,” “Secondly,” and “Another thing to consider” helps the reader follow the main points. The ideas are generally grouped by topic, but progression is limited: the reasons for applying and the suitability points are brief, while the final paragraph does not develop the free-time topic. Some linking is mechanical, particularly the repeated sequencing of points, and the relationship between shared culture and being suitable for childcare could be made clearer. Use a separate, developed paragraph for each task point and connect ideas through explanation rather than relying mainly on numbered transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “homesick,” “secure environment,” “cultural background,” and “language barrier.” There are also noticeable word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems that make some phrases less natural, such as “care taker,” “harasment,” and “clarification of the ideas.” “I would like to employ for you” is also an inaccurate expression of your intention. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the general message, but they limit precision and naturalness. Learn common phrases for applications and childcare, and check spelling and word forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more developed sentence forms, including a sentence beginning “since I have…” and a clause explaining the benefit to the child. The main meaning is usually understandable, but errors in verb forms, articles, and number occur. For example, “when I will work” should use a present form after “when” for a future situation, and “your six years old child” needs a correctly formed age expression. The sentence “I would like to employ for you” also has an incomplete grammatical pattern. Practise accurate future-time clauses and common sentence patterns for expressing interest and suitability, then proofread for agreement and articles.
