Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three points: you explain that the role would develop your skills and let you learn about Australia, mention previous experience and patience, and describe interests such as learning about local culture and gardening. The letter is appropriately directed to the parents and uses a suitable formal opening and closing. Some details, however, are less fully developed than others. For example, “previous experience in similar field” does not say what work you did or how it prepared you to care for a six-year-old, and your free-time plans could be more specific. Explain your childcare experience with a brief example and give one or two concrete activities you would pursue in Australia to make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall arrangement: the opening states your purpose, the following paragraphs cover your motivation, suitability and free-time plans, and the closing is appropriate. Linking expressions such as “Additionally,” “Apart from this” and “Furthermore” help signal how ideas relate. At times, though, the connections feel mechanical, and some references are not fully clear. “Which will enhance elegance of your house” is separated from the preceding sentence even though it explains the gardening idea, while “this position” and “this is a chance” could refer more precisely to the opportunity. Keep related ideas together and use a wider variety of natural transitions to make the progression smoother.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a range of vocabulary relevant to the letter, including “previous experience,” “patience,” “culture” and “enhance elegance.” There are also attempts to use less common expressions, but several choices or forms are inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision: “interest for your advertisement,” “a new language,” “juvenile,” and “learn an Australian tradition” do not express your intended meaning naturally. Spelling errors such as “simillar,” “lesuire” and “definetely” are noticeable. Choose familiar, accurate collocations rather than forcing formal or uncommon wording, and proofread spelling. More precise vocabulary for childcare duties and leisure activities would also help you describe your suitability and plans clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and more complex structures, including “not only … but also” and a sentence beginning “As I am on my summer vacation.” Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. For example, “I have been looking for such opportunity” needs an article, and “I look forward to hear” should use a gerund after “look forward to.” The “not only” construction is also awkwardly ordered, and “Which will enhance…” is an incomplete sentence because it is a dependent clause separated from its main clause. Practise article use, verb patterns and sentence boundaries, then check that each sentence has a complete main clause.
