Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years, the development in online purchasing has become a subject of considerable debate. Some people believe digital platfroms are best way for shopping and because of that trend all traditional shops would be closed bythis change. However, I completely disagree with this viewpoint because growing numbers of fraud and physical experience of product.
To begin with, one of the main resons why I oppose this statement is that online fraud. This is mainly becuase some websites offer discount and quantity of product but without explaining quality. For example, people can be influanced by deal but they might forget about lasting of product. Furthermore, another crucial factor is speed because some apps are charging more money for speed of service. As a result, people may loose money by online shopping as compare to store or mall.
Another important reason is that physical product experience. In other words, you can meet your expectations in traditional stores. For instance, you can check quality, lasting and ask for any warrenty or garrenty. Moreover, some old people can not use online apps and website for shopping, therefore physical store would be more convenient. Consequently, mall and shopping center give several job opportunity and product assessment.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that online shoppin create farud and loss of your money.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you disagree that online shopping will close all physical shops, and you give relevant reasons involving fraud, the chance to inspect products, older customers, and employment. However, the response only partially develops the argument. The fraud point focuses on misleading discounts and delivery charges, but does not explain why these problems would prevent shops from closing; the point about older people and jobs is also brief. The conclusion introduces fraud and financial loss again but does not summarise the full case. The response is 33 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop and support your ideas. Explain each reason more fully and add a specific example to strengthen your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Paragraphs generally group related points, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main stages. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the move from product quality to delivery speed in the first body paragraph is abrupt, and the connection between older customers, convenience, jobs and product assessment in the second is not fully explained. Some linking phrases feel mechanical, while “because of that trend” and “As a result” do not always make the relationship between ideas precise. Build each paragraph around one main reason, then explain and illustrate it before moving to the next point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “online purchasing,” “traditional stores,” “discount,” “quality,” and “warrenty or garrenty,” so the reader can understand the general subject. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make the writing less clear or natural, such as “platfroms,” “resons,” “influanced,” “loose money,” and “farud.” Some combinations are also awkward, including “quantity of product” and “physical product experience.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise language for the risks of online shopping and the benefits of in-person retail would help you express your ideas with greater clarity and variety.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “but,” and “therefore.” This gives the response some structural variety, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. For example, “Some people believe digital platforms are best way for shopping and because of that trend all traditional shops would be closed” has problems with article use and sentence construction. “I completely disagree with this viewpoint because growing numbers of fraud and physical experience of product” is not a complete, well-formed explanation. There are also issues with plural forms and agreement, as in “several job opportunity.” Practise building complete sentences with clear subjects and verbs, and check articles, plurals and clause connections.
