Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention variety, time-saving, and return policies as reasons for the decline of physical shops, these points are not fully extended or supported with deep analysis. The conclusion is a bit abrupt and slightly shifts the focus to advice for physical shops rather than summarizing the main argument. To improve, ensure each body paragraph explores the 'why' and 'how' more thoroughly, providing a more robust logical flow that directly supports your initial stance.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'My inclination can be bolstered with' or 'Not only these'. Some transitions between sentences feel abrupt, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly in the second paragraph where the link between the general argument and the specific examples (Blinkit, Swiggy) could be smoother. Improving the variety and precision of your linking words will help the flow of your arguments significantly.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'scrutiny', 'controversies', and 'inclination'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'accede' (which is usually used for requests or demands rather than opinions), 'time saving procedure', and 'good thing in shorter period'. Some phrasing is repetitive, and the vocabulary lacks the precision required for higher bands. Focusing on learning collocations—words that naturally go together—will help you express your ideas more naturally and accurately.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader's flow. Examples include 'Nowadays growing online shopping trend will be affecting on shops', 'In online shopping have various choice', and 'virtual shopping have trustworthy'. Issues with subject-verb agreement, article usage, and prepositional phrases are consistent throughout the text. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Prioritize proofreading for basic grammar rules, specifically verb forms and pluralization.
