Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this digital world, it has become trend to shop everything from online markets which will do negative impact on offline shopping in future. I am totally disagree on this statement and share my detail views in my essay with some example.
To begin with, digital shopping is convenient and easy although people have to wait for a lots of time to receive their products. To illustrate more, many people placed order but they received their product delivery after 10 -15 days because of shipping and transporting time. While people can easily purchase by their own and pick it up by visiting shops and markets. In addition, they always get good enough customer support and products repair service while doing shopping through shops. They can bargain the price and compare it with other brands of products in offline shopping.
Furthermore, lots of digital scams and fake products has been recorded in crime reports which shows negative impacts of digital shopping. For instance, my elder brother ordered online one phone last month from the website and then he received very cheap model of it which was totally different of it which he ordered. In addition digital shopping takes some extra costing of shipping and delivery cost which adds extra money in that price of that product. On other hand they can get this products on the lower price with good quality check through city markets.
To conclude, in future people will prefer to do offline shopping as it is safer, convenient, cost effective, gets sufficient customer service rather than online shopping.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against the idea that all physical shops will close. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide reasons such as the convenience of immediate collection and the risk of online scams, the arguments are occasionally repetitive or lack depth. For instance, the point about shipping times is valid, but the explanation could be more nuanced. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph fully explores the implications of your argument rather than listing points. The conclusion effectively restates your position, maintaining a consistent stance throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'In addition', and 'Furthermore' to signal transitions. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the use of referencing is occasionally imprecise, such as in the sentence 'which was totally different of it which he ordered'. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas, which helps the reader follow your argument. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'digital scams', 'customer support', and 'shipping'. However, there are instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'it has become trend to shop everything' (it has become a trend) and 'extra costing of shipping' (extra shipping costs). These errors do not impede communication but indicate a need for more precise collocation and a wider range of vocabulary to express complex ideas more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles, prepositions, and verb forms (e.g., 'I am totally disagree' instead of 'I totally disagree', and 'ordered online one phone' instead of 'ordered a phone online'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are some issues with sentence boundaries and clarity. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, they are frequent enough to limit the score in this criterion.
