Student answer (Band 5.0)
Here I would definitely share ideas about online shopping.
First of all now a days shopping has become a hobby for new generation every day new trends are going on for clothes, and they can get all kinds of variety of clothes like causal, formal, indo-western and even night suit.
The pons of buying online according to my knowledge people can save there time plus it is refundable and you have various choice to get whatever style you prefer. In this the biggest company for online shopping is AMAZON one of the best leading company in the world. They provide all the facilities to all the customers. For instance if you have got any piece damage so they replace and even they have option of cash back so it is very good for customers.
And cons part of this is small shops all over the towns and cities will be effected due to online shopping which is kind of harm to the shop keepers. It will be very difficult for them to carry forward with there because of online shopping .They will have huge effect on there sale. The most sad part if we focus is there rent and plus the goods which is held for long time in there shops which is a big disadvantage for the shop.
So as per my suggestion people should do shopping from small shops also , so that they can carry on with their work and which makes them happy and even online shopping can be done.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the benefits of online shopping and the potential negative impact on physical shops. However, the position is not clearly stated in the introduction, and the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. The argument lacks depth, particularly regarding whether all shops will close, which is the core of the prompt. The conclusion is a personal suggestion rather than a summary of the argument. To improve, you should provide a clear thesis statement in the introduction and ensure each body paragraph directly supports your stance on the future of physical retail.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical flow is weak. The transition between the benefits of online shopping and the disadvantages for local shops is abrupt. Cohesive devices are used in a very basic or mechanical way, such as 'First of all' and 'And cons part of this'. There is a lack of sophisticated linking words to connect ideas within and between sentences. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as 'carry forward with there', where the object is missing. Improving the use of transition signals would help the reader follow your argument more easily.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are several instances of incorrect word choice or awkward phrasing, such as 'The pons of buying online' (pros), 'night suit' (nightwear), and 'most sad part'. The use of 'AMAZON' as a primary example is relevant, but the description of their services is simplistic. To reach a higher band, you need to use a wider range of vocabulary, including less common items and more precise collocations, while ensuring that your word choices are accurate and appropriate for a formal essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication, such as 'now a days' (nowadays), 'there time' (their time), 'piece damage' (damaged piece), and 'there rent' (their rent). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing commas and incorrect spacing. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar—specifically subject-verb agreement and word forms—prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like 'there' versus 'their'.
