IELTS Writing Task 2 question
The growth of online shopping will one day lead to all shops in towns and cities closing.
Do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this contemporary epoch, internet shopping is a favorite activity for everyone. Some people believe that due to high popularity of online shopping, physical shopping locations will be completely shut down in the future. I entirely agree with statement and I will discuss my viewpoints in subsequent paragraphs.
Low cost and time-saving are two main factors in growth of internet shopping. Now a days everyone busy in their lives and people do not have extra time to walk one shop to other shop for just buying few things. On the other hand, online shopping solved this problem and provides a convenient and comfortable shopping experience. In addition to, Retailers can cut down their cost of rent, utilities and the labor. As a result, shopper get lower prices of products and they able to save money.
Furthermore, technology is playing a vital role to make online shopping more popular. In this modern time, artificial intelligence has adapted by each and every business. Specifically in garments shopping artificial intelligence provide a easy and convenient interface to its shoppers, there they can try clothes and shoes artificially and choose best product for them. For example, an eye glasses brand Lenscart provides virtual images with different types of designs according to their customer face structure. Moreover, new generation uses all the time this technology and they do not like to visit shops.
In conclusion, This is true in the future online shopping will replace all the shops and I completely agree with this notion. My reasons for agreement are inexpensive and convenient shopping experience also advanced technology made it more easy for new generation.

Cohesive devices are used, such as 'In addition to', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion', though some are used mechanically or with minor grammatical errors (e.g., 'In addition to, Retailers...'). The progression of ideas is generally clear, moving from the benefits of online shopping to the role of technology. However, the referencing is occasionally slightly awkward, and the flow between sentences could be smoother to achieve a higher band score.

The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task. The student uses some topic-specific terms like 'artificial intelligence' and 'virtual images'.
