Student answer (Band 6.0)
Online shopping is highly in demand that people are crazy to buy their things from it. Such type of purchasing medium may fully occupy the local vendors both in towns and cities. I totally disagree with this idea that online shopping has that much power to close the existing local shops.
Window shopping offers the customers to check the product before buying it. It shows the transparency and clarify all the doubts of the customers. Moreover, if there is anything that is not up to the mark, one can return or exchange it immediately without much hassle as one is aware about the shop from where it is purchased. Not only this it also save the customer to buy the unnecessary products which are not required at all for them. For example, online market attracts the buyers to purchase some products to grab a deal due to that shopper buy that things which are even not needed to them but there is nothing implemented during once visit to a local shop. In spite local shops are quickest mode to get the things. One just need to pay for it and within couple of minutes the things in the hand. It is also reduce the chances of fraud as the person know shopkeeper while during online shopping one does not suppliers personally.
However, online shopping offers the huge discount as there is no intermediator between manufacturer and purchaser which means less costing. In addition to it, there are variety of options that one can choose of such online platform which is not possible by local shopkeepers to keep those items in there shops. Furthermore, one can order the product from any part of globe without any hinderance.
At last, one can never avoid local shops totally as those are fastest, money saving, trustable mode of getting product while one needs to be aware when purchasing the products from any online platform.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have clearly stated your position against the prompt and provided relevant arguments for both sides. The ideas are generally relevant, such as the benefits of 'window shopping' and the convenience of online discounts. However, some points are under-developed; for instance, the argument regarding 'fraud' is mentioned but not fully explained in a way that convincingly supports your stance. To reach a higher band, ensure that each supporting point is fully expanded with more detailed reasoning or specific examples. Overall, you have addressed all parts of the task, and your position remains consistent throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices like 'Moreover', 'However', and 'Furthermore' to link your ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'At last' to begin your conclusion. Additionally, there are instances where the flow between sentences is slightly disjointed, particularly in the second paragraph. Improving the variety of your linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would help to achieve a higher score in this criterion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your meaning, such as 'transparency', 'intermediator', and 'hinderance'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'fully occupy the local vendors' (likely meaning 'replace' or 'drive out') and 'not up to the mark'. Some phrasing is also repetitive or imprecise, such as 'crazy to buy their things'. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary rather than relying on informal or slightly misused terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While your meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('it also save the customer'), incorrect article usage ('the things in the hand'), and awkward sentence construction ('due to that shopper buy that things'). Punctuation is also inconsistent in places. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to lower the score. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would be highly beneficial.
