Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The essay addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide reasons such as high rent and the convenience of online shopping, the arguments lack depth and specific, well-explained examples. For instance, mentioning Amazon is a good start, but you do not explain how it specifically contributes to the closure of physical stores. To improve, ensure that each paragraph fully explores the 'why' and 'how' behind your claims. The conclusion is a bit repetitive and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented. Focus on providing more detailed analysis to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices like 'Moreover' and 'To conclude', which help the flow. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Major reason is the Inflation because of the increasing number of the living population'. Additionally, the referencing is sometimes unclear, and the relationship between sentences could be strengthened by using a wider variety of linking words. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs could be more cohesive to ensure a smoother reading experience.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'explansion of digital shoppings', 'permentally', and 'godown'. While the meaning is generally clear, these errors indicate a limited control over more sophisticated vocabulary. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and ensuring correct spelling. Try to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to economics and retail to demonstrate a wider range of lexical resources.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('customer have a freedom', 'owner do not need'), article usage, and sentence fragments. For example, 'Many individuals adapting new technologies therefore, even a small start-up...' is grammatically incomplete. While you attempt complex structures, they are often faulty. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement and tense consistency. Reducing the frequency of these errors will significantly improve your score.
