Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often believed that increasing in digital shopping will led to shutdown all shops around the cities. I disagree with this statement. In this essay, I will discuss the main reasons of my disagreement.
From my perspective, where online shopping provides us a lot of variety throughout the country, it can also lead to dissatisfaction among customers. Many individuals argue that it is not reliable as we see it. Sometimes people have a complain about a fabric or color, since they are not exactly same as mentioned in the description. It can pose a negative impact on purchasers. Usually fake accounts are made with a same logo and articles but they are selling copies of branded articles. Thus, at the end of the day people choose to shop physically.
Recently I saw an article on Ethnics which price is 29000PKR for two-piece. In a same day, same article, same brand but it costs only 5000PKR. I believe that because of these fake pages people will never completely relying on online shopping.
Another contributing factor is, many females who belongs to the middle class families do bargaining to purchase clothes. This facility is only available in local shops. Everyone is not capable to afford expensive branded clothes. They still want to shop physically, as it assures more trust for customers. Individuals are free to choose the exact design, color, print and fabric according to their needs.
In conclusion, whereas online orders save time, they may waste our money also.
Shops in the cities and area provide us complete facilities to ensure our all desires.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against the idea that all physical shops will close. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide reasons such as trust issues and the ability to bargain, the arguments could be more deeply explored. For instance, the example regarding the price difference of a two-piece outfit is specific but feels slightly anecdotal rather than a broader economic argument. To reach a higher band, ensure that your supporting points are fully extended to explain the long-term implications of online versus physical retail, rather than focusing primarily on the negative aspects of online shopping.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a central theme. There is a clear introduction and conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally repetitive. For example, the transition between sentences could be smoother; phrases like 'Thus, at the end of the day' and 'Another contributing factor is' are functional but basic. The referencing is generally clear, but the flow between the argument about fake accounts and the conclusion could be improved to create a more cohesive argument throughout the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'dissatisfaction', 'contributing factor', and 'bargaining'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation that slightly hinder precision. For example, 'increasing in digital shopping' should be 'the increase in digital shopping', and 'people will never completely relying' should be 'people will never completely rely'. The vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning, but it lacks the sophistication and flexibility required for higher bands.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'will led to shutdown all shops' (should be 'will lead to the closure of all shops') and 'many females who belongs to' (should be 'many females who belong to'). Additionally, there are issues with article usage and verb tense consistency. While these errors do not prevent communication, they indicate a need for more careful proofreading and a better grasp of subject-verb agreement.
