Student answer (Band 6.0)
I REALLY DISAGREE WITH THIS STATEMENT THAT ONLINE SHOPPING WILL LEAD TO ALL SHOPS IN TOWNS AND CITIES CLOSING ONE DAY ITIS NOT PPOSSIBLE .ALTHOUGH ONLINE SHOPPING IS VERY POPULAR NOW A DAYS BECAUSE OF IT IS CONVIENIENCE HOWEVER PHYSICAL SHOPS ARE PROVIDING SEVERAL BENEFITS THAT CAN NOT COMPLETELY REPLACEBLE BY ONLINE SERVICES.
ON THE ONE HANS ,IN SHOPS OWNERS ARE ALLOWS TO SEE AND EXAMINE THE PRODUCTS WHEN PEOPLE VISIT THEIR SHOPS BEFORE PURCHASING THEM ESPECIALLY WHEN BUYING CLOTHING ITEMS, SHOES ,ANY COSEMATICS ITEMS ,ELECTRONICS AND FURNITURE MATERIALS.FOR EXAMPLE CUSTOMER BUY SHOES PAIR FROM THE SHOP HE CHECK SIZE AND FIT PHYSICALLY AT SHOP THEREFORE CUSTOMER ARE SATISFIED HOWEVER BY ONLINE SHOPPING PERSON NOT ABLE TO CHECK SIZE AND QUALITY OF PRODUCTS ND ONILINE SHOPPING CANNOT PROVIDE SAME EXPERIENCES
ON THE OTHER HAND , WHEN CUSTOMERS VISIT A SHOP FOR BUYING PRODUCT THEY CAN ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT PRODUCT EXCHANGING AND RELACING DIRECT TO OWNER AND TAKE PRODUCT HOME IMMEDIATELY BUT ONILE AHOPPING TAKING SEVERAL DAYS TO SEND PRODUCT THEREFORE PEOPLE HAVE TO WAIT FOR LONG DAYS IN CONTRAST BUY PRODUCT FROM SHOP CAN TAKE IMMEDIATELT AND USE THEM .FURTHERMORE FOR ELDER WHO ARE NOT ABLE TO USE TECHNOLOGY MAY FIND TRADITIONAL SHOPPING MUCH EASIER.
HOWEVER ,ONLINE SHOPPING HAS BEEN NOT MUCH SIGNIFICANT ADVANTAGES LIKE WIDE RANGE OF PRODUCT AND COMPARE PRICES AND QUALITY OF THE ITEMS ONLINE SHOPPING IS BENEFICIAL FOR THOSE WHO HAS BUSY LIFESTYLE AND HOME FAR FROM MARKETS SO IT IS LIKELY INCREASING ONLINE SHOPPIN MAY CAUSE SMALL CHANGE IN OFFLINE SHOPPING ND SHOP CLOSE
IN CONCLUSION ,ALTHOUGH THE INCREASINGLY POPULARITY OF ONLINE SHOPPING MAY REDUCES THE NUMBERS OF SOME PHYSICAL STORES HOWEVER I DON'T BELIEVE THAT THE SMALL SHOPS IN CITIES AND TOWN WILL BE DISAPPEAR BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE VALUE OF PERSONAL SERVICES ,OPPORUNITY TO SEE THE PRODUCT AND PREFER SHOP ON PHYSICAL STORES

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by presenting a clear position throughout: you explicitly disagree that online shopping will lead to all traditional shops closing. Your main ideas, such as the ability to examine products physically and the immediate availability of items, are relevant and extended with examples like checking clothing size and shoe fit. However, some ideas are repetitive or slightly under-developed, and the argument occasionally wanders into minor points like elderly people using technology. Despite these minor limitations, you successfully cover the prompt and maintain a consistent stance, placing this performance solidly at Band 6.5.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
Your essay has a clear overall arrangement with a distinct introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive phrases such as 'ON THE ONE HANS' (hand) and 'ON THE OTHER HAND' to structure your arguments. However, referencing and cohesion are sometimes faulty or mechanical, and the paragraphing contains multiple capitalization and punctuation errors that affect readability. There are also instances where sentences run together without proper punctuation. Progression is generally logical, but mechanical errors in linking devices and punctuation prevent the essay from achieving a higher band, resulting in a score of 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items related to commerce such as 'convenience', 'examine', 'electronics', and 'alternatives'. However, there are numerous spelling errors throughout your text, including 'PPOSSIBLE', 'CONVIENIENCE', 'HANS' (hand), 'COSEMATICS', 'ND' (and), 'ONILINE', 'AHOPPING', 'RELACING', and 'IMMEDIATELT'. While these spelling and word-choice errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to restrict your lexical score to a Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing conjunctions and subordinate clauses like 'ALTHOUGH ONLINE SHOPPING IS VERY POPULAR...'. However, your writing contains persistent grammatical errors, including missing auxiliary verbs ('PERSON NOT ABLE', 'WHO HAS BUSY LIFESTYLE'), incorrect prepositions ('BUY PRODUCT FROM SHOP CAN TAKE IMMEDIATELY'), and widespread capitalization and punctuation issues. Because errors in basic and complex structures are frequent and occasionally cause difficulty for the reader, your grammatical range and accuracy is best placed at Band 5.0.
