Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The student addresses the prompt by expressing a clear, albeit repetitive, position that online shopping will eventually lead to the closure of physical retail shops. However, the development of ideas is limited. Phrases like 'Online shopping will be easy to catch anything at home' and the listing of payment options and apps ('Amazon, flipkart, Ajio') lack deep elaboration and rely on repetition rather than extending arguments with well-reasoned points. The third paragraph attempts to contrast urban and village areas, but the expression is somewhat confusing ('town and cities have not enough things to buy and sale'). While all parts of the task are addressed, the support remains underdeveloped, aligning closely with the Band 5 descriptor.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response is organized into paragraphs, attempting an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the overall progression is disjointed. Transition markers such as 'In next paragraphs', 'On otherside', and 'At the end' are somewhat mechanical or misused. Furthermore, referencing is frequently unclear; for instance, 'E-commerce have many option of that we will be seen on laptop and mobiles' creates ambiguity and disrupts the logical flow. Paragraphing is attempted, but the grouping of ideas lacks clear thematic progression, particularly in the conclusion where the student contradicts themselves regarding whether people prefer residential shops or online shopping. These cohesive faults place the essay at Band 5.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently reusing terms like 'online shopping', 'options', 'home', and 'town and cities'. There are noticeable word-choice and collocation errors, such as 'gain things at home', 'catch anything at home', and 'town ration decreases'. The student attempts to use less common items like 'E-commerce' and payment methods, but spelling and morphological errors ('definetly', 'retailer' instead of retailers, 'upaid' implicitly suggested by 'upi payment') restrict the range. Vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey a basic message, which corresponds to a Band 5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The text contains a very limited range of structures. Most sentences are simple or poorly constructed attempts at complex forms that result in grammatical errors. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('internet plays... and its very easy', 'E-commerce have'), preposition misuse ('in towns and cities one day' missing verbs, 'on otherside'), and tense confusion ('percentage has increasing rapidly'). Punctuation and capitalization are also erratic (e.g., lowercase 'i', missing apostrophes). Frequent errors cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the text from reaching a Band 6.
