Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is certainly the case that online shopping become popular day by day. It is considered by some people that internet shopping would replaced traditional shopping. However, i am not agree with this statement.
To commence with pointing out why several think that digital buying trend would be closed all shopping centres. The very first reason is,it is very convenient and flexible. In other words, customers can buy anything and anywhere with one signal touch.Even they can return the products if they do not like. Moreover, they can save their time, money and energy, which they need to spend for purchaging item in big shopping centres such as travel expenses.Nowadays, number of shopping application present on the phone, which individuals can use according to their budget because some apps sell high cost and some apps so less price of the same products.Therefore.some think that shops of towns would be not exited in the future.
However, it seems me that shopping malls in cities would be avaliable because of various reasons.Firstly, mostly people like to buy branded products in big shopping centres rather than online because they need to check the quality as well as texture of the things which they can not test online.Furthermore, some shopping applications are fake and make scam with cutomers for earning money. For instance, they show attractive items while cutomers buy things online, while, they receive they get disappointent because the products are not themselves which they selected.Hence, they do not trust electronic shopping, whereas, they like to visit shops where they can get offical bill and granty of the products, which they feel secure to their life. Most importantly, lots of shopping mall are building in many areas including Canada, India, America and may other developed nations and i think they would be more established in the future.
In conclusion, although online shopping has some benefits in individuals's life yet this trend could not be replaced big shooping malls because of many reasons which i mentioned in this paragraph.

| Criterion | Band |
|---|---|

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
The response addresses all parts of the task and maintains a clear, consistent position throughout by disagreeing with the prompt. Main ideas are extended and supported, such as discussing convenience, the need to inspect physical goods, and concerns about online fraud. However, there is a tendency to over-generalize in places, such as claiming that online applications "make scam with cutomers," which keeps the score at this level. The ideas are relevant and generally well-developed, with examples from personal knowledge and experience provided to support the arguments, fulfilling the requirements for a solid performance on this criterion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay presents a clear logical organisation and progression throughout, moving from an introduction to supporting paragraphs for both sides of the argument and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used sufficiently to separate distinct ideas, such as the arguments for online shopping and the counter-arguments for traditional malls. Cohesive devices are used, including transition signals like "To commence with," "However," and "Firstly." While the overall arrangement is coherent, referencing is occasionally repetitive or slightly mechanical, such as the repeated use of "some shopping applications" and "some apps," which prevents the cohesion from achieving a fully natural flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as "convenient," "flexible," and "branded products." However, there are noticeable lexical errors in word choice, word form, and spelling throughout the text, such as "purchaging" instead of purchasing, "exited" instead of existed, "avaliable" instead of available, and "granty" instead of guarantee. Additionally, unnatural phrasing like "make scam with cutomers" impacts precision and causes occasional difficulty for the reader. These frequent vocabulary and spelling inaccuracies restrict the lexical score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but the range of structures is limited and accuracy is inconsistent. There are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement, articles, prepositions, and verb tenses. Examples include "online shopping become popular," "i am not agree," "digital buying trend would be closed," and "lots of shopping mall are building." Furthermore, awkward phrasing such as "they feel secure to their life" demonstrates control issues with grammatical patterns. These frequent errors in grammar and punctuation cause difficulty for the reader and prevent the text from achieving a higher band.
