Student answer (Band 6.0)
The trend of buying online is escalating too much these days. Therefore, It has often been argued that it's consequences will lead to the termination of local markets and vendors one day. I firmly believe that their is substantial decrease in the profit's of domestic sellers as more buyers are switching to digital shopping for their regular purchase.
On the one hand, web-based shopping offers manifold advantages. For instance, wide selection of variety of products to buy, customers gets more discounts and promotions then physical stores. Moreover, it is time and energy efficient as you can order anything on your computer or phone while sitting at home and having a cup of tea. Additionally, it offers financial benefit too as it saves travel cost as well. Because of all these benefits purchasing power is being shifted to online-retailing. Therefore, after Covid-19 people swapped to e-commerce.
On the other hand, purchasing in real-time offers you visual and sensory advantage too. For example, If you are buying from a local store, you can actually see and feel the quality of the product before making the actual purchase. This sometimes becomes a hinderance while we shop something online. That's the reason that even after having all the benefits of online shopping people are still going to the local vendors for buying things as it gives them more reliability. Another reason is some people have good relation with some sellers as they know them from before, therefore they offer them worthy discount and even if they don't want to pay immediately they can postponed the payment to a later date, which in case of buying online is not possible.
In conclusion, while online retailing is becoming more common and taking place of real-time shopping in many ways but i side will those who thinks that web-shopping will eradicate the real-time shopping completely because of it's real-time nature and benefits.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you argue that online shopping will not completely eliminate physical shops, and you address both the advantages of e-commerce and the continuing value of local stores. The examples about checking product quality in person and receiving flexible payment from familiar sellers support your view. This meets the task well, but some points are more fully explained than others. The online-shopping benefits are listed, while the link between those benefits and the eventual closure of all shops is not examined in depth. Your conclusion also briefly says you “will side” with those who think online shopping will eradicate physical shopping, which contradicts your stated position. Clarify this sentence and develop why some shops can survive alongside online retail to strengthen the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs, and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the shift between online and in-person shopping, and examples generally follow the points they illustrate. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Therefore, after Covid-19 people swapped to e-commerce” does not clearly follow from the preceding list of benefits, and the conclusion’s wording makes the final position difficult to follow. There is also some imprecise referencing, such as “it” in “it saves travel cost,” where the referent could be clearer. Use more explicit links between claims and examples, and ensure the conclusion restates the same position as the introduction.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “e-commerce,” “online-retailing,” “sensory advantage,” and “promotions,” and the meaning is generally clear. There are also attempts at less common expressions, but some are inaccurate or unnatural: “wide selection of variety,” “real-time shopping,” and “taking place of” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling and word-form choices such as “hinderance” and “web-shopping” also reduce precision. Aim for familiar, accurate collocations rather than choosing a more elaborate phrase when its usage is uncertain. More precise terms for physical shops and the advantages of shopping in person would make the argument sound more fluent and controlled.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “as,” “while,” and “even if,” so there is some structural variety. The main ideas remain understandable, but errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and punctuation occur across the response. Examples include “customers gets,” “there is substantial decrease,” and “they can postponed the payment.” The final sentence is also difficult to parse because its clauses are joined without a clear grammatical structure. Capitalisation and apostrophe use are inconsistent, as in “It” after a comma and “i” in the conclusion. Review subject–verb agreement and verb forms, and divide long sentences where needed; this would improve accuracy while preserving your attempts at complex structures.
