Student answer (Band 6.5)
Nowadays, technology has taken a good amount of its space in every field whether that is Information Technology, Health care, Education or trades. It is believed that increase in online shopping will later result in the closing of shops in all towns and cities. In my opinion, it will reduce the number of customers at local shops but will never vanish the shops from any town or city. I will putforth some statements in next paragraphs to support my opinion.
To embark with, online shopping provide a source of convienience to an indiviual in purchasing things. A person can get anything by just scrolling on cellphones rather than looking in aisles at stores. As a result, it not only reduces their travel time but also saves their cost of travelling like diesel or petrol expenses or bus fares. Moreover, apps like blinkit has reduced the pressure to do grocery shopping before the arrivals of guests. They deliever everything within couple of minutes at indiviuals doosteps.
Probing further, buying vegetables and fruits online will never satisfy a person without knowing its condition. Every citizen prefers to purchase unpacked things from local shops by checking if it is fesh or old. For example, fruits like avacados, apples are good if bought handy beacuse sometimes they are more or less riped. Furthermore, clothes purchased after proper trial are best at sizes and color choices at first place rather than returning them later if bought online.Hence, sizes and color patterns differ in some cases which lead to a long 5-7 days process of return.
To recapitulate, online shopping will grow with the passage of time as it is a easy mode of purchasing anything but getting things from local shops will never go out of habit from society because of the trust factors as an efficient shopping can be done offline.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: online shopping may reduce local-shop customers, but it will not make shops disappear. You address both sides of this view by explaining the convenience of delivery and the continuing value of inspecting fresh produce and trying on clothes. The examples of grocery delivery and clothing returns help support your argument. To strengthen the response further, develop the broader claim about why shops will remain: the discussion focuses mainly on groceries and clothing, while other reasons—such as immediate purchases, personal service, or shops as community spaces—could show more fully why closures will not happen everywhere. The conclusion restates your position, though its final explanation about “trust factors” could be made more specific.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present contrasting considerations, and a conclusion returns to your position. The progression from online convenience to the benefits of in-person shopping is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” and “To recapitulate” help guide the reader. Some linking is a little formulaic, particularly “To embark with” and “Probing further,” and the second body paragraph combines produce and clothing without a clear transition between them. The final sentence also compresses several ideas, making the relationship between trust and efficient offline shopping less clear. More natural transitions and clearer links between examples and the main claim would make cohesion more flexible.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary, including “convenience,” “aisles,” “trial,” “return,” and “trust factors,” and the reader can understand your main points. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision: “taken a good amount of its space,” “vanish the shops,” and “bought handy” do not express your intended meanings naturally. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “convienience,” “indiviual,” “deliever,” and “avacados.” Aim for accurate, natural phrases rather than formal-sounding expressions such as “putforth some statements.” Proofreading spelling and checking collocations would make your vocabulary more effective and help you express the argument with greater precision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including a contrast with “but” and a result clause beginning “which lead to.” Most of the argument remains understandable, and you use some subordinate structures to explain consequences and examples. Some grammatical errors persist, however. For example, “online shopping provide” needs subject–verb agreement, while “apps like blinkit has reduced” has a plural subject with a singular verb. Articles and sentence construction also need attention in “it is a easy mode” and “as individuals doosteps” (the latter phrase needs a possessive form and a clearer grammatical structure). Review agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries, then proofread each sentence to improve accuracy while retaining your attempts at complex forms.
