Student answer (Band 5.5)
Technology makes the shopping easy for individuals. They can buy everything online. This online shopping may be become a reason of closing shops. I am agree with this statement because people have no enough time to go to market.
To commence with, modren technology has creats many way to save time. Many electronics are example of this technology. Such as its made shopping easy, u can buy everything online. For instance, people can buy friut and vegetables online. It reaches to their home in one or half hour. Each department related to your life has easy access. your daily skin care, makeup, clothes, shoes, bags everything will buy with one click. In UK amazon is a huge exapmle of online shopping. Its a plateform where you can buy what you want. It facilitate people with his different services.
Furthermore, trend of online shopping leads less congestion in malls and shops.Individuals are busy with their hactic routine so they prefer to stay at home, sit at couch, have a cup of tea and shopping where they want. Sometimes scammers creat problem for online shopping because people worried about shopping wether its beneficial or not. The best way to save yourselves from scammers to order on authentic page. They have return policy. Thus its easy to change the thing if dont like.
In conclusion, online shopping become trend in youth. They have busy lifestyle so they buy their necessary things from websites. This trend may cause decreases in physical shops. From my prespective its true. This may be happen in few decades.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you agree that online shopping may lead to physical shops closing, and you give relevant reasons, including convenience, busy routines and the possibility of scams. Examples such as buying groceries online and using Amazon help illustrate your points. However, the response only partly develops the central claim about shops closing. Much of the first body paragraph lists products and services available online, while the second focuses on reduced congestion and scam precautions rather than explaining how this trend could cause shops to shut. The conclusion repeats your view but does not add support. Develop the link between online sales, fewer customers and shop closures, and consider whether all types of shops would be affected equally.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The sequence from convenience to online-shopping trends is generally understandable, and signposts such as “To commence with,” “Furthermore” and “In conclusion” help show the stages of your argument. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Many electronics are example of this technology. Such as its made shopping easy” does not clearly connect the example to the point, and the discussion of scammers shifts away from the claim about shop closures. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, as in “They have return policy,” where the reader must infer who “they” refers to. Use clearer links between each reason and your main position, and make pronoun references explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “online shopping,” “congestion,” “return policy” and “authentic page,” and you attempt to express ideas about convenience and consumer habits. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make the writing less natural or occasionally harder to follow. Examples include “a reason of closing shops,” “hactic routine,” “plateform” and “beneficial” where you mean whether a purchase or seller is trustworthy. Repetition of “easy,” “buy” and “online shopping” also limits precision. Build a wider set of accurate phrases for describing retail trends and their effects, and check spelling and collocations carefully. More precise vocabulary would help distinguish convenience from the economic consequences for physical shops.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You communicate your main ideas using simple sentences and make some attempts at longer structures, such as “Sometimes scammers creat problem for online shopping because people worried about shopping…” However, the range is limited, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction occur frequently enough to affect clarity. Examples include “This online shopping may be become,” “I am agree,” “It reaches to their home,” and “This trend may cause decreases.” Some sentences are also incomplete or joined awkwardly, as in “Such as its made shopping easy.” Practise forming accurate clauses with a clear subject and verb, and check tense and agreement in each sentence. Greater control of these patterns would make your argument easier to read.
