Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, online shoping become more popular among the indivisuals because of technology. Some persons think that citi and town shops will be closing soon beacuse the rapid growth of online purchasing. Both online and physical store shoping have thier own advantages. As per my openion physical store purchasing never close .
To begain with online shoping, human can buy anything like grocery, clothes ,any electronic device without going anywhere from home. Online shoping websites give them a wide range of prouducts and diffrent price options where mankind easly compare price and quality of goods. for example, working employers can easily purchase their houshold chores from online websites without spending much time for going on stores. Moreover, online shoping is more convienet and time saver in today busy life.
Secondaly, phshical store shoping is a best way to purchase good accordig to our size and qulity spacialy when we buy clothes and shoes because the size may be not accrate on online shoping. In store shoping we can ask for help for custumer service department and if anything is not abaleable we can request foe that item and get within few mintues. For instence, whenever i go foe shoping i always try clothes so i get my perfect size, whnen i touch the prouduct i knew about their quailty. Accourding to my view point physical shoping is also a best way to spend time with our dearonce.
In concluion, while online shoping has become more convient and time saver as well as provide wide range of diffrent offers but phshyical shoping give a chance to check prouduct properly before buying.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you disagree that online shopping will cause all town and city shops to close, and you give relevant reasons for both online and in-store shopping. The examples about comparing prices, buying household items, trying on clothes, and checking product quality help address the question. The response also recognises the convenience of online shopping while explaining why physical stores remain useful. To make the argument more fully developed, explain more directly why these advantages mean shops will continue to operate, rather than mainly listing benefits. The point about spending time with loved ones is introduced but not explained, and the conclusion could restate your disagreement more explicitly. This gives the response a clear, relevant answer, with some ideas needing further support.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on online and physical shopping, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” make the progression easy to follow, and the examples generally appear alongside the ideas they support. However, the organisation is somewhat mechanical, and some links between points are unclear. For instance, the sentence about requesting an unavailable item and receiving it “within few minutes” does not clearly explain how this supports the continued value of physical shops. The conclusion also summarises both sides without clearly connecting them to your position. Use more precise references and transitions, and make each paragraph build towards the central claim, to strengthen the progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “wide range,” “price options,” “customer service,” and “quality.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “physical store purchasing” and “online purchasing.” However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “shoping,” “convienet,” “abaleable,” and “dearonce.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “a best way” and “working employers.” These errors sometimes make the reader pause, even though the intended meaning is usually recoverable. Work on accurate spelling and natural collocations, and vary repeated terms such as “shopping” and “purchase” with suitable alternatives.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a contrast introduced by “while.” This allows you to present comparisons and examples, but control is inconsistent. For example, “online shopping become more popular” has an incorrect verb form, while “physical store purchasing never close” has problems with agreement and sentence construction. Articles and plurals are also often inaccurate, as in “a best way” and “from online websites.” Some sentences run together or lack clear punctuation, particularly in the paragraph beginning “Secondly,” which makes the relationships between ideas harder to follow. Practise accurate present-tense forms, subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries while retaining your attempts at complex structures.
