You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect.

Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter

• correct the information in the article
• explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
• suggest what the magazine should do about this situation

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear sir or madam,

I am writing to express my concern about one of the article that was posted in your magazine a week ago.

Recently while going through your magazine, I came across an article mentioning my hometown in which there were some facts listed that were not correct. You mentioned that the town though pretty and lively is not accessible to everyone due to poor connectivity of public transportation. Furthermore, the article mentioned that the electricity in town is unreliable and limited to town centre. I would like to mention that my town is very well connected with bus and train and is also accessible through cable rope as well while we have installed solar panels and windmills to generate electricity throughout the town 24/7/.

According to me, it s very important to state all the facts correctly as my town relies solely on tourism and having some negative comments will render the source of livelihood for people of my town.

I believe your magazine should publicly acknowledge the mistake and post an article with all the rectified facts.
