IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect.

Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter

• correct the information in the article
• explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
• suggest what the magazine should do about this situation

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear sir,

I want to express my concern regarding an article in an international travel magazine you published about our that is wrong information mention in it.

As it mention that our hometown is located on at the coast whereas it is inland where a lot of amenities occupied like parks, mountain and hiking trails where visitors can enjoy activities. Moreover, it also shows that transportation system is very less that lead to misinformation because many visitors relay on these international magazine to plan their vacations, however, this is very efficient and local authority promote fast and eco vehicles which is beneficial for both environment and residences.

I would appericiate if you could correct it next time and you can also contact to the editor team and local authority before publish any article as it would not lead any misunderstanding among travelers.
