IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect.

Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter

• correct the information in the article
• explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
• suggest what the magazine should do about this situation

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

I hope you are doing well!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction on yours previous published magazine. Firstly, I am really appreciate that your magazine choses our town to represent as the most beautiful town in the world. Moreover, I would grateful if you could mentions the right information about our town. In the magazine it wrotes that this town have three rivers but in reality it is five rivers with small little farms and shops. Furthermore, I believe it is really important to provide the right information to the audience. So during the visit time they did not face any kind of trouble. However, if you mentions the wrong information in the article it reflect negatively on audience. As may its looks inappropriate and also misspell the name of our city. In addition, my recommendation is to you please try to republish it, admit you mistakes as well as solve it as soon as possible.
