IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect.

Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter

• correct the information in the article
• explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
• suggest what the magazine should do about this situation

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear sir,

Here I would like to inform you that the article which has been published on travel magazine is completely incorrect.

I would like to share thoughts on this that before publishing any thing on international magazine we should first survey the place and than give judgment what is wrong and right. In the article it has been written that people in our country are not faithful which I believe is wrong.

I would like to request you that the editor should change this statement and should write proper article because it can effect our country and citizens living there. Moreover if we see this magazine are also in international flights and when passengers when they read this type of article it is a bad impact on our state.

So it is a humble request that the article should be changed and publisher should write proper phase of line so that there is a positive impact on the travelers.
