Dear Sir or Madam,
I just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some incorrect information about my town. It mentioned that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the freedom fighter of India born in Karamsad, but he was born in Nadiad.
Moreover, Karamsad is Sardar Vallabhbai Patel's hometown. He lived there. His house is still here. there one museum named Sardar Patel Memorial. there is one theater inside which shows his journey. and also, many things are there which he used , some photographs, also. so basically, Karamsad is his workplace however, his birth place is Nadiad, which is nearer to Karamsad.

Thank you
your faithfully,
Unnati Makwana.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The letter covers all three bullet points: correcting the misinformation, explaining the importance of accuracy, and suggesting a resolution. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter to an editor. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the explanation of why accuracy is important is quite brief and repetitive. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the consequences of misinformation, perhaps discussing the impact on the magazine's reputation or the potential for tourists to be misled. The correction of the birthplace is clear, but the description of the museum could be more concise to allow for more depth in the required sections.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices like 'Moreover' and 'Additionally' to link your ideas. However, the flow within paragraphs is occasionally disjointed due to short, choppy sentences and some awkward phrasing, such as 'there one museum named...'. The use of referencing is sometimes unclear, and the transition between the correction of the facts and the request for action could be smoother. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that sentences connect logically will help improve your score in this area.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your message clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'freedom fighter', 'birthplace', and 'hometown'. However, the range is somewhat limited, and there are instances of imprecise word choice, such as 'many things are there which he used' and 'it is creat an issue'. To improve, try to use more sophisticated vocabulary to describe the situation, such as 'inaccurate information', 'rectify', or 'misleading'. Expanding your range of collocations will help you achieve a higher band score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'he was born in Nadiad' (correct), but also 'it is creat an issue' (incorrect verb form) and 'they with not get' (incorrect modal usage). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with capitalization and sentence boundaries. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles and prepositions. Proofreading your work for basic errors like 'your faithfully' (should be 'Yours faithfully') will also help improve your accuracy.
