IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect.

Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter

• correct the information in the article
• explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
• suggest what the magazine should do about this situation

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to bring your attention a matter of concern regarding the incorrect information about my town historical building which is known as The Treehouse which is mentioned in your international travel magazine.

I read this article recently and i Find some mistakes. For example, you mentioned in the magazines that the Treehouse was built in the 18th century but it was established in 17th century. In addition, the article is only tell people that it is visiter place, you should mention about it contains history.

I would say, it is imperative to provide correct information about travelling places to aware people regarding this in order to let them know about the place where they want visit.

I kindly recommend this to your authority that you make some changes in your international travel magazined and ensure that it contain correct information regarding every place.
