You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect.

Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter

• correct the information in the article
• explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
• suggest what the magazine should do about this situation

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Hope you are doing well.

I am writing this letter to request you to change some information mentioned in your international travel magazine about my town - Surrey which is situated in British Columbia. You have mentioned about closure of Business Centre getting shutdown in this area. This might be wrongly mentioned by your editor, however, the centre is under renovation and will be closed just for a month and reopen with new facilities and upgraded stores. In addition, to this centre it is called to be town’s main attraction for tourism because of its famous night market, street foods, traditional shopping area and so on. Instead of closedown information, I would request you to add about its new structure, extended stores facilities and reopen date which will be on 7th July 2026 so that tourist may come and experience the town more closely.

I would appreciate your time and support if you accept my request to rectify the information in your magazine.
