You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect.

Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter

• correct the information in the article
• explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
• suggest what the magazine should do about this situation

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear sir or Madam,

I am writing with regard to a correction required in an international travel magazine which contained some information about my town. The article about a small town ' Kairthal' was published on August 12, 2026 in Hindustan Times, there was a minor mistake. My town 'Kaithal' was seperated from 'Kurukshetra' in 1972, and the year published in article was 1962.

The city has historical background, many archeological surveys has took place there. Further, many antiques and ancient statues were found from some old sites. The place also holds a religious significance, as there are number of lord shiva's temple that make this place more special. Visitors often come to its archeological sites to do research and study. That is why it become important to correct the information.

I understand the article had been published, but if you could do something about it that will be helpful. I look forward to your prompt response.
