You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect.

Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter

• explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
• suggest what the magazine should do about this situation

I am writing to express my concern regarding an article published in your magazine about my town, which contains some inaccurate information.

The article mentioned that our town has limited access for public transport and that visitors can only travel around by taxi. However, this is incorrect. Our town has the best, most reliable, and more frequent public transport, including buses and trains connected to nearby cities. In addition, most tourist locations are mainly accessible through public transport.

It is important for your magazine to provide accurate information because most international travellers prefer to travel magazines to plan their trip. Incorrect information causes confusion. lead unnecessary expenses, and discourage tourists from visiting certain locations. Moreover, incorrect information can also damage the image of a reputable magazine.

I would appreciate it if you could change the information to provide correct information. I would also suggest consulting a local tourism authority before publishing any information about a specific town or destination in the future.
