IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect.

Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter

• correct the information in the article
• explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
• suggest what the magazine should do about this situation

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you regarding the recent article of Town Brampton. There is some information that I find incorrect about the town.

The information I found was related to the historic place, which is related to the World War 2. The article says that the building is made for their memorial but the place it self was not involved during those times. I would like you to inform that the place played specific role during that period as civilians made underground field to hide their young ones when ladies of the families went to find food.

This is quite important for the magazine as the place itself is not popular around the world even some locals are unaware of the this place's history.
