You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect.

Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter

• correct the information in the article
• explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
• suggest what the magazine should do about this situation

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to bring to your attention a matter regarding misinformation about an artile related to Cambay- the undisputed town, it was published on 20th April 2026 in your international travel magazine.

Regarding the misinformation, while my town name is Cambay, you have mentioned Kamby. Cambay is a historical town with many tourist attraction and it is situated on the coast area of Arabian Sea; However, Kamby is a small village located 200 KM away from my hometown.

To provide some specific context, lately I came to know that many tourist confuse with the information provided by your article and reach the wrong destination. Hence, it’s your responsibility to correct the information mentioned in your article.

In light of these circumstances, I would suggest that you publish the artile with correct information and the disclaimer saying previous information was incorrect. Also, you can mention the historical sites information to glorify the history of my town.

I hope you will consider my request favorably, and I look forward to hearing from you.
