You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect.

Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter

• correct the information in the article
• explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
• suggest what the magazine should do about this situation

I am writing to you concerning an error made in the recent publication of Travel Times Magazine.

The article stated that Lahore has been highly modernized and all historical buildings have been reconstructed. However, that is not the case. The historical sites, particularly the Badshahi Mosque and Old Food Street have been preserved and serve as popular tourist attractions.

It is important for travel magazines to not mislead their readers with incorrect information as it significantly influences how tourists choose to visit a certain travel destination. Prospective travelers often rely on information from travel magazines and plan their itinerary through it.

I request you to not release any further copies of this issue and republish after correcting the information. Furthermore, I highly suggest that you generate a social media post addressing the mistake and also mention the correct information in it.
