You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect.

Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter

• correct the information in the article
• explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
• suggest what the magazine should do about this situation

I am writing to draw your attention to a recent article published in an international travel magazine about my hometown is incorrect.

To begin with, the article was regarding a survey on the Royal museum. It was build in 1980s by the local charity organisation who donated their land to the local council for the welfare of the society. However, the article mentioned in the travel magazine mentioned that the entry to museum is free for all the international visitors which is untrue. The 'no charge' scheme is applies only for the local residents of the town. This misleading information could cause a considerable inconvenience for the tourists who are truly interested to visit this historical site. Therefore, I strongly advise if you could make this necessary changes on your upcoming articles so that visitors are aware of the current fees to visit museum. It is extremely important for tourists to know the entry fees to prevent disappointment after reaching at the site.
