You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect.

Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter

• correct the information in the article
• explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
• suggest what the magazine should do about this situation

I am writing to point out some incorrect information in a recent article about my town published in your international travel magazine.

The article states that our town has very few public transport options and that there are no interesting places for tourists to visit. However, this information is not accurate. Our town has a well-connected bus service, and visitors can easily travel to different areas. It also has several popular attractions, including a historical fort, a large local market and a beautiful lake.

I believe it is important to correct this information because international visitors may make their travel plans based on your magazine. Incorrect details could give them a misleading impression of the town and may reduce the number of tourists.

I would suggest publishing a correction in the next issue and updating the information on your website. You could also include some photographs and details about the main attractions and transport facilities.
