It gives such a bad impression of our home town and i would further like to add that i totally disagree with this because there is no such thing happened here. They might have gone through some misunderstanding or might be some sort of miscommunication with some local people .It's my humble request to you that if possible can you please try to correct the information because of this wrong details people have stopped visiting our place .Adittionaly i would like to say that because of this situation our native people's income has stopped which was heavily dependent on travellers who come to see amaizing places .Furthermore if possible can you please change the information and write how rich our place is culture and traditions .You can also write we also have quote in our town that say's " Travellers are trated as God", and we mean it.

I hope you would take a look into it and solve matter as early as possile so we can be relieved.

Thanking You

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

The response successfully covers all bullet points required by the prompt. You clearly correct the misinformation regarding the local Sarpanch, explain why accurate reporting matters due to the negative impact on local tourism and residents' income, and suggest publishing a retraction alongside positive cultural details about your town. Your position is consistently maintained and understandable throughout the letter. To reach a higher band, the ideas could be extended with more specific details, such as giving examples of the actual cultural traditions you mentioned or elaborating more on how the community is suffering, rather than relying on brief overviews.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The letter maintains a coherent overall arrangement and communicates your message, but the organization and progression of ideas suffer because the entire text is written as one large block paragraph. While you use some transitional phrases like 'Adittionaly', 'Furthermore', and 'I hope', the lack of standard paragraph breaks makes the progression feel mechanical and crowded. To improve, you should organize your letter into distinct paragraphs for a greeting, the correction of information, the explanation of the impact, the suggested action, and a proper sign-off. More varied and accurate cohesive devices would also help guide the reader more smoothly.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your message effectively. You attempt some less common vocabulary such as 'miscommunication', 'dependent', and 'traditions'. However, there are noticeable spelling errors ('Adittionaly', 'amaizing', 'trated', 'possile') and word choice issues, such as writing 'native people's income' instead of 'local residents' income'. To achieve a higher band, you need to expand your lexical range by incorporating more precise, academic, or sophisticated phrasing and ensuring that spelling and collocations are accurate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response demonstrates a limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on long, run-on sentences connected by conjunctions, such as 'It gives such a bad impression of our home town and i would further like to add that i totally disagree with this because there is no such thing happened here.' There are frequent grammatical errors, including missing capitalisation ('i'), incorrect tense usage ('there is no such thing happened here'), and punctuation mistakes. While your meaning can generally be understood, these frequent errors cause difficulty for the reader and prevent the grammar score from rising.
