I am writing this letter to inform you about your recent article, an international travel magazine was have some incorrect information about my town. I am a keen reader of articles. Yesterday, when I was reading an international travel magazine's article I had realized that information about my city is not appropriate.

Firstly, you mentioned that town have three primary schools which is incorrect. Although, my town have more than three schools and substantial hospitals. Moreover, I have read about cleanliness. which you mentioned that the town has less significant about clinging. However, municipality over about cleanliness and individuals are also take care about the cleaning. I would suggest that you could correct this mistake and give appropriate information in article.

I would appreciate it if you could consider my request and print a new article. Thank you for your time and concentration.

Yours faithfully,

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You identify two inaccuracies: the number of primary schools and the town’s cleanliness, and you ask the magazine to correct the article and print a new one. However, the task is only partially addressed because the correction is not fully clear: “more than three schools” does not specify the accurate number, and the reference to “substantial hospitals” is not explained. The importance of accurate information for readers, visitors, or the town is not stated, so one required point is missing. Your request is understandable, but the ideas remain brief and under-developed. To strengthen the letter, give precise facts, explain the consequences of misleading travel information, and make a clear, specific proposal for how the magazine should respond.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The letter has a recognisable structure, with an opening, a paragraph describing the errors, and a closing request. “Firstly” and “Moreover” help signal the points you are making. However, the progression is not consistently clear: the sentence about hospitals appears without a clear connection to the school correction, and the cleanliness point is difficult to follow because “which you mentioned” does not clearly link to the preceding sentence. The opening also repeats that the article contains incorrect information. Organise the body around the task points—corrections, why accuracy matters, and the action requested—and use clear links between each idea. This would make the letter easier to follow without relying on a few basic connectors.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the situation, including “incorrect information,” “municipality,” “cleanliness,” and “appropriate information.” This gives you enough language to communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited, and several word choices or combinations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “less significant about clinging” and “time and concentration.” These expressions may make the reader unsure what you mean. “Keen reader” is understandable but does not add much to the purpose of the letter. Aim for precise, natural phrases such as “the article incorrectly states,” “the town is well maintained,” and “thank you for your attention to this matter.” Check spelling and collocation when choosing less familiar words.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including “I would appreciate it if you could consider my request,” which is a useful polite construction. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence formation, verb forms, agreement, and punctuation. For example, “the town have three primary schools” needs subject–verb agreement, while “my town have more than three schools” repeats this problem. The opening sentence combines clauses incorrectly, and “Although” is used in a sentence fragment. There are also unclear sentence boundaries in “cleanliness. which you mentioned.” Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a correctly linked supporting clause, then check agreement and punctuation.
