IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Some people think it's better to choose friends who always have the same opinions as them. Other people believe it's good to have friends who sometimes disagree with them.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

People believe that it is a great choice to have a friends whose opinions are as same as them. Controversely, some people thinks it is good to have friends who disagree with them when they gives opinion. Well we discuss these views and think what the clauses.

While some people argue that friends with disagreements while they have a great communication. If they give lectures or discuss something that is not useful for other, they probably disagree with them. Not knowing that they are greatest in friendship. However, it is possible once in a blue moon. The outcomes are very dangerous as it gives breakup in friendship. As this is not a right way to argue with the things that gives full vibes. Some people believe what they teaches them is useful for their future. But it is not. Friends feels that he or she will be more arrogant and attitudy person. So they argue like they are not friends anymore.

Other contented that friend who support your view and gives strength what you speak are tends to be real friends. They agree with your opinions. However, sometimes if you are in a wrong way they probably gives you lecture on that but in a very quiet and peaceful way. So you don't hurt yourself and althought their friendship remains forever. For instance, I found out a very sincere and long lasting friendship since I was a child. Furthermore, we are still as same as very first day of meeting. We fight a lot. We talk a lot. We make memories and enjoy each other companies by listening to each other every single day without any disagreements.

In conclusion, it's depend on people thinking and what kind of friendship they have in their lives.
