Student answer (Band 6.0)
This is no gainsaying the fact that in this contemporary era, making real friends is not as easy as in the past. Some sections of society shed light on the perspective where friends have the same point of view; on the other hand, different thinking of friends is good, as per other people. Although I will elaborate on both points of view, I agree with the second point of view.
On the one hand, choosing friends who have the same opinions plays a crucial role in making their future bright, as there is no chance for conflicts among them, and also, they will show respect for their opinions and handle the situation with the same point of view, which builds up their relationship to flourish more. Apart from that, they can easily achieve the task. For example, if they are working on a school project, they have same view and perspective toward how to make it and follow same path to complete it, it saves their time and also makes their friendship more better and stronger.
On the flip side of the coin, different understandings among friends are good for them. Firstly, we all know that if one friend has a different approach for doing a task and another friend is doing the task in very long and deep detail, then it gives them a lot of ideas and makes the task more creative. Apart from that showing always agreement with their friend has a detrimental impact on their holistic development; they always feel dependent on their friend's decisions.
Overall, it is clear that making friends with same point of mind is not better in this fast-paced era of today, but if we are making friends with diferent approcah play a paramount role for making our friendships stronger and showing more streight towards each other.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention that having friends with similar opinions helps with projects, the explanation is repetitive and lacks depth. Similarly, the argument for having friends with different opinions is a bit thin, relying on general statements about 'creativity' and 'holistic development' without concrete examples. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your points with more specific, illustrative examples or logical reasoning to fully develop your position.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction and conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand,' 'On the flip side of the coin,' and 'Apart from that.' However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical or repetitive. The flow between sentences is generally clear, but the connection between the ideas in the second paragraph could be smoother. The use of referencing is mostly effective, though some sentences are slightly clunky, which occasionally disrupts the progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, including some good phrases like 'no gainsaying the fact,' 'contemporary era,' and 'detrimental impact.' However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'more better' (which is grammatically incorrect) and 'point of mind' (which is not a standard collocation). There are also some spelling errors, such as 'diferent' and 'approcah.' To improve, focus on using more precise vocabulary and ensuring that your word choices are natural and idiomatic.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation. For example, 'making friends with same point of mind is not better' lacks articles, and 'making friends with diferent approcah play a paramount role' has a subject-verb agreement error. Additionally, 'more better' is a double comparative error. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, they occur frequently enough to limit your score. Focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy.
