Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

Your position is identifiable: you favour friends who disagree when necessary, explaining that a friend should say “No” if you are “going in wrong direction.” This is relevant to the question, but the response does not discuss the opposing view that friends with similar opinions may be preferable, and your own view is only briefly explained. The example about a friend preventing a poor decision is not developed, and the final idea about a friend who “always say yes” is unfinished. The response is also substantially below the required 250 words, which leaves the task only minimally addressed. To improve, discuss both views, explain your opinion fully, and add a specific example with its outcome.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is a basic line of thought: you state your preference, then give a reason involving a friend who warns you when you are making a poor choice. However, the response has no clear paragraph structure and does not progress through both sides of the discussion. Beginning the second point with “Because” leaves it as a fragment rather than a complete, connected explanation. The final sentence is difficult to follow and appears unfinished, so the relationship between agreeing friends and “danger path” is unclear. Use separate paragraphs for the two views and your opinion, and connect each claim to an explanation or example using clear transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use a small set of relevant words and phrases, including “different opinions,” “disagree,” “wrong direction,” and “danger path,” so the central topic can be understood. However, the vocabulary is repetitive and some choices are inaccurate or unnatural: “openion” is misspelled, “make be pushing us” does not express the intended idea clearly, and “danger path” would be more naturally expressed as “a risky course of action.” The phrase “saying with own experience” is also unclear. Build a wider range of vocabulary for discussing friendship, advice, and decision-making, and check spelling and collocations. More precise wording would make your argument easier to understand.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response shows attempts to connect ideas, for example in “the one who stand saying No when i am going in wrong direction,” but sentence structures are mostly simple or incomplete, and errors sometimes make the meaning unclear. In “Because i believe,” the opening dependent clause is not attached to a complete main clause. There are also agreement and verb-form problems in “a friend who always say yes” and “who stand,” as well as missing articles in “in wrong direction.” The final sentence lacks a clear grammatical structure. Practise complete sentences, subject–verb agreement, and articles, then vary sentence patterns by combining a claim with a reason or example. Proofread punctuation and capitalisation as well.
