Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this concurrent world, there is an ongoing debate regadring friendship.Few individuals believse that it is favourable to select friends who have same prefence as them, while others claims that it is favourable to have friends with distinct ideas.I firmly agree with second one.Hence,my opinion and both the views are elaborated in the ensuing paragraphs.
To begin with, the formost agrument to prove the former view is that individual can obtain opportuniy to coordination to face any circumstances. To elaborate this,by selecting same behavioured friends, individual can express their emotions without any oppositions. It can be advantegeous to conserve to time to take any paticulre decision. For instance, according the an article of Time Of India, 15% of indian has conserved time to evlaute problems in their time as they all had same point of view for the situation.
On the other side, the other argument to concure the later view is that human can incline their knoweledge. To explaine this, people can acquire new ideas while they face any opposition. It can assistfull to take accurate decision as they have accurate information regadring paticular situation. For example, according the survey of the Indian Welfare Department, 12% of Canadians took right decision in the global debate as they had opinions of oppoisit party also.
In my point of view, I firmly agree with second view as it is also provides opportunity build confidence in individual's life. Human face cetain situation while they have opposit minded friends. It provides opportunity to face certain thing, which have not prepared from beggining.
To conclude, although people can aquire coordination with same prospective mined friends, yet they can incline their knowledge as well as they boost their confidence byy communicating with versatile mined friends.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and state a clear preference for friends who sometimes disagree, especially in “I firmly agree with second one.” The response also gives reasons and examples, so the main parts of the task are covered. However, the two positions are not developed equally: the first paragraph explains that like-minded friends can save time, while the second says disagreement broadens knowledge, but neither point is explored in much detail. The examples about survey percentages are difficult to connect to friendship and are not explained, which weakens their support. Your point about disagreement building confidence is relevant, but it needs a clearer explanation of how this happens. Develop each reason with a specific, plausible situation and show how it supports your view.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “To begin with,” “On the other side,” and “To conclude” make the progression easy to follow, and your position is repeated consistently. This meets the lower-band expectations and shows some features of stronger organisation. However, the transitions can feel formulaic, and some connections between claims and examples are unclear—for instance, the Canadian survey does not clearly demonstrate how friends with differing opinions help people make decisions. The conclusion also repeats the main points rather than drawing them together. Use clearer references and explain the relationship between each example and its supporting idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “distinct ideas,” “opposition,” “accurate decision,” and “versatile minded friends.” However, the range is limited by repeated or imprecise expressions, and frequent spelling and word-form errors make the writing harder to read. Examples include “regadring,” “prefence,” “knowedge,” and “oppoisition.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “conserve to time” and “same behavioured friends,” so the intended meaning is not always immediately clear. Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than choosing more complicated wording. Proofread spelling carefully and learn useful phrases as complete units, such as “save time,” “share similar views,” and “broaden one’s perspective.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at complex structures, including “although … yet” in the conclusion and clauses beginning with “while” and “as.” This gives the response some variety, but control is inconsistent: errors in sentence structure, articles, agreement, and punctuation occur across the essay and sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “individual can obtain opportunity” needs articles, while “others claims” has a subject–verb agreement error. The sentence “as it is also provides opportunity build confidence” combines incompatible verb forms and omits a necessary structure. Several sentences also run together because spaces after punctuation are missing. Practise checking one sentence at a time for a clear subject and verb, correct articles, and complete clause structure.
