Nowadays, many people prefer keeping friends who have the same point of view. While, others are argue its important to make friends with someone who constantly disagree with them. People prefer friends they want to learn from and friends who challenges their thinking. This essay will align with people who choose friends that have the same opinion with them. Because, they share similar interest and values. And, relating with them create comfort and acceptance.
Firstly, many people make friends with people who thier view agrees with them, because they share similar interest and values. For instance, when I was a teenager, my twin brother does not like the kind of food I enjoy, he dislike music, while I enjoy listening to music. Also, he hates walking with crowd, he enjoys keeping to himself, while I like when friends visit our home. We became separated as adults because of our opposing interest and values, and we respect it.
Secondly, keeping friends with people with the same opinion creates internal comfort and make you feel accepted. There is less fear of being judged when you are around friends with the same view. Because, arguments are avoided. My best friend is a practical example of comfort and acceptance, because we have never disagree on any topic, it is either he agree with mine or I accept any discussion we share, which is a healthy relationship
Conclusively, this essay alignes with the view that keeping friends with people who have the same opinion, will help sharpen their similar interest and values, and also, create comfort and acceptance.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a clear preference for friends with similar opinions and give relevant reasons: shared interests and values, plus comfort and acceptance. The examples about your twin brother and best friend help illustrate these points. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the opposing view is only briefly mentioned in the introduction; it is not explained or supported in a body paragraph. The twin-brother example also describes differences in hobbies and habits more than disagreement about opinions, so its connection to the question is not fully clear. To strengthen the response, explain why some people value friends who challenge their views, then compare that benefit with your own preference and support both sides with focused examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The paragraphs each focus on a reason for your position, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly” and “Conclusively” make the sequence easy to follow. However, the overall progression is limited because both body paragraphs support the same side, leaving the opposing view undeveloped. Some linking is mechanical or awkward: “Because” begins a sentence fragment in the introduction and again in the second body paragraph, while “And” also starts a fragment. The long example about your twin brother contains several ideas that could be separated and linked more clearly. Organise the essay around one paragraph for each view, followed by a clear comparison or conclusion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate your main ideas, including “point of view,” “similar interest and values,” “judged,” and “comfort and acceptance.” These phrases show an attempt to discuss relationships and differing perspectives rather than relying only on very basic words. However, some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or repetitive, such as “friends who challenges their thinking,” “same opinion with them,” and repeated use of “comfort and acceptance.” There are also spelling and word-form slips, including “thier” and “alignes.” These do not prevent the reader from understanding the general message, but they reduce precision and naturalness. Build a wider set of expressions for disagreement and learning, and check spelling and collocations when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “while” and “when,” and the main message is generally understandable. However, errors occur frequently in verb agreement, tense and sentence construction. For example, “friends who challenges” should use a plural verb, “he dislike” needs a past-tense form to match the story, and “we have never disagree” requires a participle. Several sentences are fragments, including “Because, they share similar interest and values” and “And, relating with them create comfort and acceptance.” Punctuation also sometimes separates dependent clauses from the sentences they belong to. Practise forming complete sentences and checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms; this will make your ideas easier to follow.
