Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three requested points: you describe the helpful instructors and extra classes, explain that you have cooked at home and started a channel, and recommend a Chinese cookery course. These details make the letter relevant and give the reader a clear sense of your experience. However, some points are less fully developed than others. For example, “20 different food” is a useful specific detail, but you could explain what kinds of dishes you prepared or how the course helped you make them. The suggestion for a Chinese course is also supported mainly by broad claims about fast food and restaurant jobs; explain more directly what learners would gain. A clearer, more formal closing would complete the letter effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: it moves from feedback on the course, to your cooking since completing it, and then to a future course suggestion. Separate paragraphs help the reader identify these stages, and phrases such as “since I completed this course” signal the change in focus. Some connections are less clear or mechanical, however. In “The senior member of team was take classes after our closing time, it helped us,” the relationship between the extra classes and their benefit is not smoothly expressed. The final suggestion also begins abruptly. Use clearer linking and reference, and make sure each paragraph develops one point in a logical sequence. A conventional sign-off would also strengthen the letter’s overall organisation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “helpful,” “gain skills,” “cooking channel,” and “employment.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems make the letter less natural. For example, “submit a feedback” is not idiomatic, “fast food” does not clearly describe the proposed Chinese cookery course, and “everyone love” is an inaccurate expression. There are also spelling errors such as “guding” and “resturant,” which reduce the accuracy of the vocabulary. Aim for more precise phrases suited to a formal letter, such as describing the instructors’ support or the specific skills a course would teach. Proofreading for spelling and natural word combinations would improve clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You communicate your meaning using a mixture of simple sentences and some longer structures, including the sentence beginning “I have started my cooking channel as well, where…” However, grammatical control is uneven, and some errors affect clarity. For example, “The senior member of team was take classes” has an incorrect verb form, while “I have cooked 20 different food” has problems with the noun form and agreement. In “One suggestion i want to address it you can add…,” the sentence structure is incomplete and difficult to follow. Capitalisation and punctuation also need attention, including the lowercase “i” and the space before the full stop after “made.” Practise accurate verb forms and sentence boundaries while retaining some complex sentences.
