Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three requested points: you describe enjoying the practical sessions and supportive teaching, explain that the course helped you obtain part-time work as an assistant chef, and recommend an Italian cuisine course. These details make the letter relevant and give the reader a clear sense of the course’s value. The enjoyment point is supported with some explanation, but the amount of cooking you have done since the course is not stated directly; instead, you focus on finding work and securing a job. Clarify how often or what you have cooked since completing the course, then connect this to your employment experience. The course suggestion is relevant, though the reason for offering it could be developed more specifically.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: it introduces the purpose, describes the course, explains its practical benefit, and ends with a suggestion and thanks. Paragraphing helps separate these stages, and transitions such as “Moreover” and “After successful completion” make the progression easy to follow. However, some links are mechanical or unclear. “Moreover” introduces a related point but does not show precisely how course structure connects to your enjoyment, while the shift from securing a job to recommending Italian cuisine is abrupt. The opening and closing are appropriate, but the final suggestion and thanks run together without a space. Use transitions that express the relationship between ideas and make the final paragraph’s progression smoother.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “practical sessions,” “course structure,” “professionalism,” and “part-time job,” and the reader can understand your main message. There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “Indo-Canadian Cuisine” and “assistant chef.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are noticeable, including “writting,” “prepration,” “interseting,” and “confidencde.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise: “provide a feedback,” “easy to proceed and learn,” and “target huge audience.” These choices limit the accuracy and flexibility of your vocabulary. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations, for example, “give feedback,” “easy to follow,” and “appeal to a wider audience.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mixture of simple and more complex sentences, including “Despite of large groups of attendees teachers were able to help and support every individuals.” The overall meaning is generally understandable, but some errors in sentence structure, verb forms, articles, and agreement remain. For example, “I was started on 13th of september and last up for two weeks” has incorrect verb forms and an unclear subject; “I choosed” should use the correct past-tense form, and “every individuals” has a number-agreement error. The opening comma after “well” should be a full stop, and the sentence beginning “Despite” needs a comma after its introductory phrase. Aim for accurate basic sentence patterns first, then use complex structures with correct verb forms and punctuation.
