Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points in the task: you describe enjoying the lessons and instructor, explain that you have cooked the dishes in your restaurant, and request a future course in Indian cuisine. The details about learning new dishes and customers liking your cooking make the feedback relevant. However, some points are less fully developed than others. For example, “I cooked all the dishes” gives a general account but no specific example or indication of how often you have cooked since the course. The proposed Indian cookery course is clear, and you give a reason for it, but the expected benefit to the school or students could be explained more clearly. A more direct, consistently formal letter style would also strengthen the response.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a recognisable overall structure: an opening purpose, comments on the course, information about your cooking afterwards, and a future-course suggestion. This makes the main message possible to follow. However, the progression is sometimes interrupted by sentence fragments and mechanical links. For instance, “As I has opened the small resaurent in my locality” is separated from the reason it explains, while repeated uses of “As” do not always create a complete connection. The paragraphing also leaves the course experience and its effects somewhat loosely organised. Grouping each task point into a clear paragraph and using links such as “Since completing the course” or “As a result” would make the relationships between ideas clearer and less repetitive.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “Instructor,” “dishes,” “restaurant,” and “Indian cuisine,” so the reader can understand the main subject. There are also attempts to express evaluation and business impact, such as “built up confident” and “boom my sales,” but these phrases are inaccurate or unnatural and sometimes make the meaning less clear. Spelling errors such as “Cusine,” “resaurent,” and “grabed” are noticeable, and several words are repeated rather than replaced with precise alternatives. To improve, check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for describing a course and its results—for example, “gain confidence,” “customers enjoyed the dishes,” and “increase sales.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response attempts both simple statements and longer sentences, and the main ideas can generally be understood. However, some errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction reduce accuracy. Examples include “I had certified from,” “As I has opened,” and “many customer loves,” where the verb forms or agreement do not fit the subject and meaning. The sentence beginning “As, every day we learned…” is also not well connected to the preceding sentence, and the closing “thanking you, Hoping to join institute soon” lacks a clear grammatical structure. Practise forming complete sentences and choosing consistent past or present forms: for example, “I completed a course” and “I have cooked the dishes I learned.”
