Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you explain that the teachers were supportive, say you cook every day and try recipes with your family, and suggest a bakery course. The purpose and generally positive tone are clear. However, some points are only briefly developed: for example, you do not describe a particular class or explain what you enjoyed learning, and the bakery-course suggestion would be stronger with a specific reason or topic. The response is also 11 words below the required minimum, so add relevant detail to meet the task requirement and develop your ideas more fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: you begin with your purpose, then discuss the course and your cooking afterwards, before making a suggestion and closing politely. Paragraphing helps the reader follow these stages. Some links between ideas are basic or unclear, however. For instance, “After done my course” does not smoothly introduce the point about cooking, and “Its also essential to make a good chief” is not clearly connected to why the school should offer a bakery course. Use clearer transitions and explain how each idea relates to the next. The letter format is recognisable, though the closing phrase should be matched more carefully to the salutation.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main message, including “recipes,” “bakery skills,” and “supportive and helpful.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which makes parts of the letter less natural. Examples include “feedback of cookery course,” “different type of food,” and “make a good chief”; these could be expressed more precisely as “feedback on the cookery course,” “different types of dishes,” and “become a skilled chef.” There are also spelling and form errors such as “writting” and “chines.” Build a wider set of accurate phrases for describing learning, practice, and future course ideas.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

Your message is understandable, and you attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, such as “I learnt new recipes which i try in a dinner for my family.” However, grammatical control is inconsistent. Examples include the missing verb in “Now i confident,” the incorrect construction “After done my course,” and agreement or article problems in “There are other course” and “a such great experience.” Capitalisation and punctuation also need attention, particularly the repeated lowercase “i” and inconsistent spacing. Practise complete sentence patterns, past and present verb forms, and singular/plural agreement. More accurate control of these basics, alongside a few well-formed complex sentences, would make the letter easier to read.
