Student answer (Band 6.5)
In this world there are majorly two types of living one who is believe money is everything in the life and the other is following passion makes you to more relevant to life and make you happy. Both are in their perspective right and wrong too. i personally believe that each person have his or her personal way to make themself happy.
firstly, many people thought that money can give you ultimate happiness and luxurious lifestyles and freedom of life. for example you can go on world tours and exploring new places in the world or else you can buy luxurious yatch or sports car or mansion and so on and all these thing give you ultimate freedom.
On the other hand, many people thinks that following passions gives you lifetime memory or happiness. for instance a person who loves to travel and explore new culture and tradition will allow him to follow his passion in his or her entire life irrespectively they have money or not .they always stay happy while getting knowledge about it. More importantly they can survive in very low amount of income on the contrary a person who always lives in comfort lifestyle will not survive if he or she have not enough money to fulfill their routine. they will fall in depression whereas people who only lived on their skills and experience they can doge and situation happily and with smiling face.
In my personal point of view definitely money gives you anything but not everything where as passion, knowledge experience gives you every possible chance to get ultimate power and freedom

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: how money contributes to happiness and other sources of happiness. The ideas are relevant, such as the mention of material possessions for the first part and personal passion for the second. However, the development is somewhat limited. The arguments are presented in a general way without deep exploration. For example, the explanation of why passion leads to happiness could be more detailed to fully meet the requirements of a higher band. The position is clear, but the overall structure of the argument lacks the depth required for a higher score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression of ideas. There is an attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'firstly', 'on the other hand', and 'more importantly'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as the transition 'on the contrary' used to contrast lifestyle stability rather than a direct opposition. Additionally, some sentences are run-on or lack clear logical connectors, which occasionally makes the flow of ideas feel disjointed. Paragraphing is present but could be more effectively managed to separate distinct points.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the student to express basic ideas clearly. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'luxurious lifestyles', 'irrespectively', and 'ultimate power'. However, there are noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'majorly two types of living' instead of 'two main types of lifestyles' and 'doge and situation' (likely a typo for 'dodge any situation'). These errors do not generally impede communication, but they limit the range and precision of the language used.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('many people thinks', 'each person have'), missing articles, and incorrect verb forms ('one who is believe'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some sentences lacking proper capitalization or ending punctuation. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of these errors means that the student does not demonstrate consistent control over complex structures, keeping the score in the 5.0–5.5 range.
