Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 153 words. Consequently, the development of ideas is severely limited. While the essay touches upon both parts of the prompt—how money brings happiness and other factors like health—the discussion is underdeveloped and lacks sufficient supporting examples or depth. The conclusion is entirely missing, and the arguments provided are brief. To improve, you must expand each body paragraph with more detailed explanations and concrete examples to ensure the task is fully addressed.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay uses basic cohesive devices such as 'In addition', 'For Instance', and 'Secondly' to link ideas. However, the progression is interrupted by the premature ending of the text. Paragraphing is present, but the structure is incomplete as there is no concluding paragraph. The logical flow is generally understandable, but the lack of length prevents a more sophisticated development of ideas. To improve, ensure you have a clear introduction, well-developed body paragraphs, and a summary conclusion, while using a wider variety of linking words to connect your arguments more fluidly.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is adequate for basic communication but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several errors in word choice and form, such as 'amenties' (amenities), 'comfortables' (comfort), and 'others factor' (other factors). The phrasing is often repetitive, and the range of vocabulary is limited to common, everyday terms. To achieve a higher score, focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensure correct word forms and collocations. For example, instead of 'comfortables life', use 'a life of comfort and convenience'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. Examples include 'true happiness is depends on' (should be 'depends on'), 'the basic amenties' (should be 'basic amenities'), and 'enjoy to their life' (should be 'enjoy their lives'). There is a limited range of sentence structures, and the errors in subject-verb agreement and preposition usage are noticeable. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like verb forms and pluralization. Increasing the use of complex sentence structures will also help improve your range.
