IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Some people say the main way to be happy in life is to have a lot of money. How might having a lot of money make people happy? What other things in life can make people happy?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
In todays modern generation number of individual say that the key road to happiness in life is by having plenty amount of money. All the aspects would be discussed in the upcoming paragraphs with examples and explanation.
Nowerdays people are willing to have a live a life like rich people and they wants to show off their earing with their lifestyle and they think that people loving them will make them feel joyfull. For instance, in college students come in cars, wearing branded clothes which they think that it is making them happy. Making time for you and your loved ones will even make you happy, everything is not earned with the help of money like love you have to find a good person who understands you and your emotions.
In reality it is not true, havoing money is not only the path to feel happy there are many other ways like spending time with your friends, family, partner or silbing at the beaching having a coffee and spending a peacfull eveing. For example, going out for a date with your partner having dinner at the place you first meat at the street side of college canteen were you guys use to go before marriage is also a fun thing to do.
Overall to sum up with, today each and every person is running behind money thinking that one day theywill have so much money and they will be happy with is not true. Earning money is essential but it is not the only way to feel happy.
