Student answer (Band 6.0)
Looking at the current economical situation of the world we live in, having suffient liquid funds is definitely the key to a happy life. I truly believe that having plenty of money outweighs all other comforts in life to great extent but I also lean on having a healthy body and peaceful mind to enjoy the perks of being wealthy.
In this materialistic world even to sustain a normal lifestyle a lot of money is needed that means having food on table, clothes to wear and a roof above your head, etc. The government of Canada census suggests that when monthly bills are paid on time majority of the people have a stressfree happy life, therefore when there is plenty of money in the household with potential savings for future extremities people can definitely live an anxiety free happy life. Speaking from my own example when I was working part time jobs while being a student, I could barely make ends meet and was constantly worried about my upcoming semester fees. This pressure imprinted in my mind for a very long time and forced me to work hard to secure a high paying job when I graduate. Fortunately that came true and I am currently living a happier life when by the end of the month I save alot of my pay cheque.
In addition to the above pros of having alot of money, I believe in having a fit disease free body and a peaceful satate of mind does lead to a conent and blissful life. When the body is free of any ailments one can exploite the benefits of this modern lifestyle in the best way possbile with a calm state of mind.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the prompt and state a clear view: money can reduce financial stress, while health and peace of mind also contribute to happiness. The example of struggling to pay semester fees and later saving from your salary gives the discussion a relevant personal illustration. However, the two parts are not developed equally. The benefits of money are explained through basic needs and reduced anxiety, but the second part is mostly asserted: being healthy lets people enjoy life, without a specific example or further explanation of other sources of happiness. The claim that money outweighs “all other comforts” is also stronger than the support provided. Develop the non-financial factors more fully and connect each example directly to your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a recognisable overall progression: an introduction, an explanation of money’s benefits, a personal example, and a final point about health and peace of mind. Linking phrases such as “In addition to the above” help signal the shift between ideas, and the personal example follows logically from the discussion of financial pressure. To make the organisation more effective, separate the long middle section into clearer paragraphs and give the final idea more space. Some connections are mechanical or unclear: “therefore” joins a general claim about bills to a conclusion about household savings without fully showing the reasoning, while “the above pros” is a vague reference. Use more precise links and ensure each paragraph develops one main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “liquid funds,” “make ends meet,” “potential savings,” “anxiety,” and “peaceful state of mind.” These choices help communicate the main ideas, and the personal account uses some natural expressions. There are also attempts at less common or formal language, but several are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “current economical situation,” “future extremities,” and “imprinted in my mind.” Spelling and word-form slips—including “suffient,” “alot,” “satate,” and “possibile”—also reduce precision. Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than elevated wording: for example, refer to the “current economic situation” and “unexpected expenses.” Proofreading would help preserve the range you are attempting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including subordinate clauses such as “when I was working part time jobs while being a student” and “when the body is free of any ailments.” Most of the meaning remains clear, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. For example, “when monthly bills are paid on time majority of the people” needs an article before “majority,” and “having a fit disease free body and a peaceful satate of mind does lead” has a subject–verb agreement problem because the subject is compound. The opening sentence also needs clearer punctuation around its introductory phrase. Review articles, agreement, and comma use, and break up some long sentences so that complex structures remain controlled.
