Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both parts of the question: you suggest that money can attract social attention and invitations, and you identify family and friends as other sources of happiness. Your view that money matters but should be balanced with relationships is also present, especially in the conclusion. However, the explanation of how money itself creates happiness remains limited; for example, “this guy have everything” is asserted rather than explained or supported with a specific example. The discussion of relationships is more developed, but some points are unclear and repeated. To strengthen the response, explain practical benefits of wealth, such as security or access to opportunities, and support each main idea with a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an identifiable beginning, two main discussion sections, and a conclusion, so the reader can recognise its broad structure. You also use basic signposting such as “To begin with,” “In other side,” and “To conclusion.” However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: ideas about money, friendship, and family are joined together without clear links, and several points are repeated. The contrast between money’s benefits and its effect on relationships could be organised more clearly, with each paragraph focused on one central idea. Use linking expressions to show cause, contrast, and examples accurately, and make references such as “this guy” or “their friend” clearer so the reader can follow who is being discussed.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use a small set of relevant words, including “money,” “happiness,” “family,” “friends,” and “important,” which keeps the general topic recognisable. There are also attempts to express ideas such as social comparison and the “race of money.” However, vocabulary is limited and repetitive, and frequent spelling and word-choice problems sometimes make meaning difficult to understand. Phrases such as “relations are mostly depend on money” and “money is the key of happiness” are not natural collocations. Build a wider range of topic vocabulary and learn common word partnerships, then check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise expressions would help distinguish financial security from social status and personal relationships.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example with “because” and “if,” and you use some simple sentence forms to state your opinion. However, the range of structures is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty, which can make the reader work to understand the meaning. Examples include “if we have money then every one talk with us” and “money is not give everythings”; these show problems with verb forms and agreement. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, with several ideas run together. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using one clear subordinate clause at a time. Check subject–verb agreement, articles, and verb forms when revising.
